Lokahi in Action: Why We Chose Maui United Way

Our Lokahi Giving initiative was built on the belief that when we work together, share resources, and show up for one another, we can create real, lasting impact.

Each quarter, we partner with a local nonprofit and donate a portion of sales from our Lokahi beer to support their work. As we began shaping this program, one organization quickly rose to the top as a natural first partner: Maui United Way.

Starting with connection

Lokahi means unity, harmony, and shared purpose — values that sit at the core of both our brewery and the work happening across Maui every day.

Maui United Way plays a unique role in bringing people, resources, and organizations together to address some of the community’s most pressing needs. From strengthening families and supporting education to improving financial stability and health outcomes, their work touches nearly every corner of life here at home.

They don’t just provide support — they connect the dots. And that kind of behind-the-scenes leadership is essential to a thriving community.

How Lokahi supports their work

Every pint of Lokahi beer poured is a small act of collective support. A portion of those sales goes directly toward Maui United Way’s efforts to uplift individuals and families across Maui.
